meekey is the master of the rogers household (and don't we know it!). despite being the "baby", he constantly commands best seat in the house. since coming to live with merry, meekey has brought something very special with him - the art of creating furballs secreted in very well hidden orifices around the house, causing much delight in the morning when you find a lovely warm furball squelching between your toes...... merry, on the other hand is quiet and scared of his own shadow.... meekey's arrival to the family created a troublesome time for poor merry, and there was much hissing, claw bareing, fighting and spitting as the two cats defended their territory and found their boundaries (sounds much like the creation of skeeal!) both cats are very musical (see photos below) and are on standby if we ever want a pianist or drummer....
oshin, the owner feline friend of the gawne family has had quite a traumatic life, considered to be a male cat, poor oshin had quite a time when they tried to take him to the vets to be "done" only to discover that he was a she.... can you imagine the stress?! oshin has been offered counselling, but to date has refused
stanley, the lovely black cloud belonging to breesha puts the scared into scaredy cat, and makes even merry look like a brave tiger in comparison! Breesha, never one to give in to confortomity decided that her cat should have a manly name, and came up with stanley. a name fit for a brave manx lord no doubt, |
